Shipping

We deliver for free in the Gallatin Valley and other locations within a 30 mile radius. At your option, you may also pick up work at our shop.

Western Woodcraft employs FedEx® Freight for all our shipping needs, as we have found them to be competitively priced, while delivering superior service. Usual shipping times are three to four days for western states, and five to six days for midwestern and eastern states, as well as Hawaii and Alaska. Shipping rates are highly dependant upon the receiving location, the current fuel costs, and whether the shipment is delivered to a residence or business. Western Woodcraft charges the actual shipping costs, and does not add any profit or surcharges to the shipping costs, so you can be assured that you are getting the lowest cost for the highest service. Shipping costs are quoted along with the work quote so there are no surprises.

Shipping costs are very reasonable for furniture which is broken down (i.e. requires some assembly). Furniture shipped completely assembled is mostly empty space, and costs much more. As an example, a dining table shipped from our shop to Michigan with the legs removed would cost approximately $250, while the same table fully assembled would cost approximately $800 to ship to the same place.

Western Woodcraft will ship to Canada, and the customer is responsible for tariffs, duties, and associated fees. We can ship to other countries, although this handled on a case-by-case basis and can be very expensive--but nothing is impossible to deliver a one-of-a-kind creation from the mountains of Montana to your doorstep.
